Most windows are fitted with
standard float glass, the clear glass commonly used in homes.
Any glass
within 800mm of the floor or
in/attached to a door (including conservatories and porches) must be
safety glass to meet regulations. This is usually
toughened glass, which shatters into small, blunt pieces if broken, though
laminated glass is sometimes used instead.
All our
replacement glass units are
argon gas–filled and have a
Low-E energy-efficient coating as standard, helping your home stay warmer and compliant with
current energy regulations.
Glass can be
clear or textured, with many styles available.
